You can enjoy a new feeling of design that has given traditional Korean beauty a brand new feel, incorporating elements such as Korean characters and alphabet, traditional paintwork on Korean architecture and the elegant form of hanbok attire.
Emotion of Korea
The emotions of Korea are expressed by harmonizing a white porcelain-shaped hood in the kitchen.
By arranging chairs in the ‘Family Island’, space can be used as a tea table or for ‘Mom’s Office’.
Effective Use of Space
We arranged Family Island with wheels and designed additional storage space in the lower area so that users can further utilize it for storage space, such as holding books or kitchen items
With designing ‘Kitchenbrary’, we demolished the boundary between living room and kitchen and designed a life-oriented multipurpose space for family.
Korean Alphabet Calligraphy
We etched a part of poetry ‘Spring of Hometown’ on the glass door through a collaborative work with famed calligrapher Jo Sung-ju. You can see the appearance and disappearance of Korean alphabet calligraphy according to the angle of light.
Space of Memory
We designed practical space equipped with a board inside the door so that you can hang up pictures or memos with a magnet.
We completed a luxurious open wardrobe by reinterpreting Korean architectural painting into vivid colors that is famous around the world.
